The ongoing revolutions in the field of digital technologies and their impact on individuals, organisations and businesses mean that computer science disciplines are becoming increasingly central to today’s society and its future development.
DISI aims to be a local, national and international centre of excellence for basic and applied computer science research, for training professionals capable of responding to the constantly evolving needs of society and the World of work, and for technology transfer, innovation and communication with public institutions, businesses and society.
Founded with the aim of becoming a unique centre of excellence in the field of computer science, DISI is a dynamic and stimulating environment for study and work, focused on wellbeing, inclusivity and equal opportunities; a place where the entire community is encouraged to contribute to the development of a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. We carry out our activities on the campuses in Bologna and Cesena.
