Description
The Department makes a GPU-equipped HPC (High Performance Computing) cluster available to DISI users who need special computational resources for thesis or project activities.

How to do
To activate the service, it is necessary to make a request by e-mail to tecnici@cs.unibo.it
In the request it is necessary to specify:
- institutional account to be enabled for access to the cluster
- role (student, phd student, thesis student, etc.)
- degree course to which you belong
- referring professor for the project (if applicable)
- estimated end date of the project
HPC Cluster for Research
Recipients
The system is open on an experimental basis to all DISI structured staff, doctoral students, fellows, and research fellows
Description
The SLURM cluster currently under prototyping is intended to support high-performance computing activities for experimental research projects. Access to and use of the system is restricted for scientific and testing purposes, with a view to future deployment in production. Users are invited to contribute feedback to improve the configuration and reliability of the system. Because the cluster is under development, instabilities or unplanned changes may occur.
How to do
To activate the 'account, it is necessary to make a request via email to disi-pssd@unibo.it specifying:
- institutional account to be enabled for cluster access
- role (PhD student, fellow, etc.)
- department of affiliation
- referring professor for the project (if applicable)
- estimated end date of the project
- specify that activation is required for the cluster PSSD-disi - netgroup onlypssd
