Microsoft Agreements

Microsoft EES (Enrollment for Education Solutions) Agreement is a software license rental program ("right to use") expressly aimed at the university world, related to some Microsoft products related to productivity.

Recipients

• each unit of staff that is employed in the facility during the period of validity of the subscription
• all the facility's personal computers (including classroom workstations, laboratories and libraries)

What do you expect

For the products included in the agreement (Office and Windows), the agreement provides for the installation of:

• all updates (“upgrade” right);
• previous versions (down grade right).

Description

The Department, against the payment of an annual fee, can perform all the Office installations (excluding Office365) and Windows updates that are necessary at no additional cost.

As for the new PCs, these must be purchased with the Windows operating system already present (OEM license). The agreement will allow the operating system to be upgraded or downgraded.

The products included in the agreement are: updates of Windows operating systems and Office package in the various releases excluding Office365.

Where can I install it?

Installations can be made on machines inventoried by the Department.

Work at Home

It is possible to install the products offered in agreement also on personal computers owned under the following conditions: the applicant for the service is structured personnel the software will be used for activities relevant to the work done at the facility For more detailed information consult the website

How do  it

Interested parties can send an email to disi-licenze@unibo.it indicating:

• name surname,
• the sw you want,
• the target machine,
• the home office.

They will then be contacted to define the most suitable installation method.
